Selected Applicants will begin an experience of a life time. From June 11 to August 6 those few accepted will live in Nature learning to procure and preserve life sustaining skills specific to the Summer season.
The Wilderness Immersion Apprenticeship is an Instructor Trainer program that continuously improves it’s content in designing world class outdoor education for top tier outdoor educators. This experience provides growth in outdoor education and nature literacy, regardless of experience level, through ancestral skills and modern applications.
Our four seasonal sessions focus on the challenges and opportunities each time of the year offers. The result is a well-rounded, highly competent outdoor professional who can speak from direct experience about the natural world, and guide others through safe and enriching programs throughout the year.
Goal: Create instructors and “community builders” in outdoor education by increasing nature literacy and nature connection.
