 Living on campus for the eight week residential program is a training experience designed to continuously improves it’s content in outdoor education for future instructors, community volunteers and enthusiasts alike.

The experience provides a comprehensive education from basics to advanced methodology through both ancestral living skills coupled with modern methods of  outdoor living. You will progress from Wilderness Survival skills through Sustainable Long Term Off Grid Living toward being a leader in Outdoor Skills and Education.

The four seasonal courses focus upon the challenges and opportunities that each changing season offers.  Resulting is a well-rounded, highly competent outdoor educator who can speak from practical experience about living in the natural world.

Goal: To create instructors and community developers in outdoor education by increased nature literacy, survival skills, practical outdoor skills, and a productive nature connection.

Contact the School to Request an Application and Curriculum Guide before Registering. We Recommend one 5 Day course before making the decision to apply. The cost of a five day course will be applied to your tuition should you decide to continue as a member of the Wilderness Immersion cohort.
