The essential Survival 1 Foundation 5 Day skills course will enable you to out into the wilderness and get home safely. This course is a foundation level for folks with little to no experience in the outdoors.

- Types of fire lays

- Aid-less navigation

- Intro: foraging, medicinals and utilities
- Intro to: Debris Hut Basics
- Bow Drill: form and technique
- Water Storage, Camp and hunting tools
- Tracking, Traps and snares
- Field butchering, Primitive Cooking
- Food preservation
Maine Primitive Skills School offers campsites to students during their stay at no extra charge. When preparing to arrive, plan as if you were going on a comfortable car camping experience.
